Blerita Korca is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Bamberg in Germany. She holds a PhD in Economics and Management (with a focus in Accounting), from the University of Trento, and a master’s degree as an Erasmus Mundus grantee from the University of Bologna. Her research is focused on the role of regulation in sustainability reporting and she uses both qualitative and quantitative methods.
Impact/Engagement Activities
Before starting her position as a postdoctoral researcher, Blerita worked at Climate & Company (sustainable finance think tank), where she contributed to the IPSF report on ESG disclosure for the European Union, and she wrote several policy briefs with the aim to inform policy-makers and raise awareness on sustainability-related disclosure issues. In April, 2022, Blerita presented at the high-level conference “Closing the ESG Transparency Gap”, together with key experts from politics, academia, and standard-setting organizations.
